Can I install a water heater by myself safely and correctly?

You can, but it’s not recommended. Tank water heaters store significant energy and, if mishandled, can become a dangerous bomb in the home. A correct install should include earthquake strapping, a drain pan to an auxiliary drain, a properly piped temperature-and-pressure relief valve, an expansion tank, and proper gas or electrical connections with a cold‑water shutoff. We service electric, gas, tankless, and heat pump units and offer 24/7 help for leaks in Idaho Falls and nearby cities.
